AvertX ProConnect Recorder Software Version 3.1.5
March 28, 2024-
UPDATED: Added additional information to exports within the System Logs under Setup (gear icon) > Tools/Logs > Log Files.
- UPDATED: Updated the Low stream video to no longer be transcoded to the same resolution High stream video was for MP4 exports for improved usability.
- UPDATED: Updated the default bitrate for MP4 exports for improved usability.
- UPDATED: Disabled the console spot monitor function on the appliance using specific Linux images due to GPU driver compatibility issues. Learn more here.

AvertX Connect iOS app Version 3.0
February 28, 2024- NEW: Added the ability to filter the timeline search by all supported event types when selecting the drop down menu (carrot icon) > filter under the Recorded tab.
- NEW: Updated the timeline search bar to display multiple events within the same timeline.
- NEW: Updated the Search interface with a complete UI overhaul, including a redesigned interface for Event Search.
- UPDATED: Added a Update Notice to display upon opening the app when there is an update available for the application.
- UPDATED: Added logic to the Search function that now displays a grid of all supported event types after selecting the Search button.
- UPDATED: Changed the names of the Events button to Search in the main navigation menu.
- UPDATED: Updated the display of Event Types when you Search to show applicable Recorders and Cameras or Recorders and Sensors to the chosen event type.
- UPDATED: Updated the display of the Search Button Event Types to have a Full View or Thumbnail option at the top of the page. Results show Additional Details for each clip.
- UPDATED: Updated the display of a selected Event to show Additional Details below the viewing pane in Search.
- UPDATED: Updated the results list to have the newest events at the top when you Search within an Event Type.
- UPDATED: Updated the Video Clip Export screen UI style and colors to match the rest of the application.
- UPDATED: Updated minimum requirements to support iOS version 15.0 or newer.
- UPDATED: The iOS mobile app now displays the default iOS keyboard instead of 3rd party keyboards when typing in sensitive fields like Username and Password.
- UPDATED: Updated the order of the Relays displayed on the Activate Relays popup to active, moving those associated with cameras currently being viewed to the top of the list under Live when clicking the relay icon.
- UPDATED: Updated multi-language translations for all supported languages to enhance user experience across different regions.
- UPDATED: Video Clips exports now match other clients by enabling audio by default.
- UPDATED: Video Clips default start and end time match the respective event start and end time, with a maximum of 4 hours.
- IMPROVED: Added preset options for Date/Time range when searching for an Event in Search.
- IMPROVED: Improved performance for viewing 360 degree cameras when dewarping for smoother and more efficient monitoring.
- IMPROVED: Fixed an issue that may have prevented users from connecting with LAN Smart Forwarding (LSF).

- IMPROVED: Fixed an issue that caused cameras to stop displaying video if a user swiped through the different camera views too quickly.
AvertX ProConnect Recorder Software Version 3.1.4
February 19, 2024- UPDATED: Added the Grid Setup option allowing users to edit stream selection for console spot monitor in Setup (gear icon) > General Configuration > Spot Monitor.
- UPDATED: Added support for medium video stream quality for Console Spot Monitor.
- UPDATED: Updated the Stream Quality selection in Live view to be limited based on the Grid Size, ensuring uniformity across different interfaces.
- UPDATED: Added a new yellow triangle information icon to the stream configuration interface to signal when a low stream is not configured for the console.
Note: Please use a high and low stream for Stream Configuration & Live Remote Viewing because using only a high-resolution stream can lead to performance challenges in AvertX clients or the local console, particularly when decoding multi-grid video. - UPDATED: Improved stability and security.
- IMPROVED: Fixed an issue that caused the Console to display a white screen after logging in when the boot to live feature was enabled.
- IMPROVED: Fixed an issue that may have caused the First Time Wizard from being displayed in the Console.
- IMPROVED: Fixed an issue that may have caused the Console to be stuck at 100% loading progress after upgrading to a newer server software version.
- IMPROVED: Fixed an issue that may have caused excessive logging in the system logs in the Console.
- IMPROVED: Fixed an issue that may have caused cameras to look pixelated, blurry, or display the wrong colors in the Console.
