Why is the Calendar blank in Search?

When searching for footage using the ProConnect NVR's Search menu, the software can provide the existence of recorded footage in the Calendar. Since each camera can record at different times, each camera may have its own Search Calendar dates populated.   

In the Search grid view, a selected camera will have a "blue" outline around the edge of the view.  Dates with recorded footage in them will be highlighted on the Calendar in "blue."


The following can cause the Search Calendar to be blank:

  • A camera hasn't been selected.
  • The selected camera does not have recorded footage:
    • Camera(s) configured to record on Motion only, versus Continuous + Event, may not have recordings for a time period.
    • Cameras intermittently disconnecting will cause blank spots in the calendar.
  • The recorder is indexing the database after an update or reboot.
