How to Connect an IP66 Waterproof Connector to AvertX Cameras

AvertX cameras feature an IP66-rated weather resistant connector for the RJ45-terminated Cat5e cable. The connectors protect the camera's dongle from the elements, which could affect the camera's performance.

The connectors have a threaded lock cap, a silicone seal ring, a small silicone “O” ring, and an RJ45 "crown" enclosure. Each piece is needed.
