What is the difference between the HD810 and HD820 Autofocus Dome Cameras?

megapixel-comparison-2015.jpg

Megapixel Cameras

Higher resolution gives you the ability to enlarge an image and see critical details at a greater distance than before. The image above depicts the video image difference between various video streaming technologies. Analog systems typically provide top resolution of 960x480 pixels, significantly smaller than the image provided by HD Plus megapixel cameras. 1080p high definition is 1920x1080 pixels, similar to a 1080p HD television. AvertX 4MP cameras capture video at 2560x1440 pixels. That’s more than 75% more pixels than 1080p!

Remote Controlled Autofocus 3x Optical Zoom

The AvertX HD810 dome camera provides control over the viewing area. A fixed lens camera’s view is limited by how close or far it is from the targeted area. The HD810 with its 3x optical zoom gives you more choices for camera placement and to zoom in on what’s important to you. Once you have the view you want, autofocus gives you the sharpest picture possible. Zoom and focus is controlled by the NVR software or mobile app. No more climbing a ladder to adjust the camera!

Spectrum Vision WDR

Spectrum Vision WDR (wide dynamic range) compensates for uneven light conditions caused by shadows, obstructions, back light and inconsistent lighting.  Cameras with Digital WDR may show some improvement for these conditions but do not achieve optimum results.  Spectrum Vision WDR from AvertX uses double exposure technology that includes both optical and digital image processing.  The result is superior video quality compared to Digital WDR.

HD810 IR

Night Vision

Capture images covertly at night. AvertX Night Vision uses infrared light (IR) that allows your surveillance system to see intruders in the dark. AvertX Cameras use the latest high intensity IR LED technologies for maximum coverage. The image shown is an actual capture from a HD810 dome camera in total darkness at a distance of approximately 30 feet from the camera.

*IR range and image quality can be affected by surfaces that absorb or reflect the IR light differently when in total darkness. Camera location or position may need to be adjusted to optimize the images. Some ambient lighting provides the best results for night surveillance.

Pain Free Installation

AvertX has designed its system with integral features to simplify installation. Power and video are transmitted over a single cable up to 300 feet without requiring an external power source. AvertX cameras feature an IP66 rated waterproof housing construction to withstand tough weather conditions for outdoor installation. At startup, cameras are initialized, video is recorded and motion detection is active. The key to a successful installation is planning. Before you make your purchase of a system, please read the PDF document titled “Things to Consider Before Purchasing a Video Surveillance System.” If you have any questions before or after your purchase, call the AvertX PRO Team.

AvertX Weather Resistant Cameras

Privacy Masks

Create a privacy mask on your AvertX camera to block recording and viewing of a designated area within the field of view of the camera. This feature allows you to block sensitive areas to protect privacy while still recording what is happening around it. A privacy mask gives you greater flexibility to place your cameras where they capture what you want, while maintaining the privacy or confidentially of assets, secure entry devices, documents, license plates, windows or areas where privacy is important.
